I want to take this time to introduce myself to you. I am married to a wonderful partner in life and ministry that the Lord has given me to be my life’s partner and soul mate. I have a wonderful daughter and two grandsons, all three of which know the Lord. Therefore I am truly blessed by God. I served 25 and one half years in the Army and the education that the Army provided me was as a physician assistant. I have been a Physician Assistant for over 31 years now.
I first came to know the love of God when I was just a youth. I come from a dysfunctional family and found that love from God that gives peace and comfort. Through a series of events and lack of faith on my part, I walked away from that love and that peace and comfort. I wondered like the Israelites for over thirty years until I once again set foot in the peace and comfort and love of God. But even when I was walking away from God, He was faithful to me. He protected me through Viet Nam, He led me to my wife even though at the time we were over 400 miles apart, He provided for and sustained me during the hard times of enlisted life and medical studies and helped me to continue to move upwards in the military career. He even spared my life when I had a motorcycle accident that I should not have walked away from but did. That is when the scales fell off my eyes and I saw the Hand of God in my life throughout my life. I was called into the ministry in 2002 when I rededicated my life to the Lord.
Since then I have had ministry training and mentorship with a training course in Bible Studies, training for Ordination as a Deacon and finally training in Ministry Studies. I was ordained as a Minister in June of 2005. I have a special affinity as a Chaplain for hospital services because of my background in medicine, I am currently serving as the Chaplain for the Christian Motorcyclist Association local chapter. Along with my brother in Christ I am the co-founder of the Jesus First Ministries and the Jesus First Home Church. I am currently enrolled in Andersonville Theological Seminary where I have completed the Masters in Ministry degree with the goal of completing a Doctors of Theology.
My goal for both Jesus First Ministries and Jesus First Home Church is to reach the people in need of hearing and learning of the Love of God and the peace and comfort afforded by a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, the Son of God. If you have been searching for answers that just seem to be beyond your grasp, contact either Brother Larry or myself and let us help you find the answer that is just at hand. God loves you, He showed that love in His Son Jesus Christ and continues to show that love through the Holy Spirit. You just have to be open to that love. May God bless and keep you in His love.
