Biography

In July 2007 I became the Co-Pastor for the Jesus First Home Church. Along with my wife Elaine and our good friends Steve and Rita Ward, I hope to bring the message of Jesus Christ to your life and show you how you can choose to put Jesus First. 

 I have held many positions in the ministry leading me to this path.  Always spiritually active, I've had the pleasure of working with many good people and worshipping with many believers.  Most recently I was privileged to be chosen as an Assistant Spiritual Director for the Valley Walk to Emmaus.  I have been an Associate Pastor, Deacon, Sunday School Superintendent and Teacher at The Rock Baptist Church in Cataula, Georgia.  Prior to that I was a member and Yoke Fellow at Edgewood Baptist Church in Columbus, Georgia. When my family lived in Dothan, Alabama, I taught Sunday school at Rainbow Meadows Baptist Church.  Growing up I was active in the First Congregation Church in Barstow, California and I was president of the Pilgrim Fellowship for one year.  I also earned the God and Country Award along with Eagle Scout.

 In addition to my personal experience within the church, I have chosen to pursue higher education in religious studies.  I am currently a  Candidate for Doctor of Religious Education at Trinity Graduate School of Apologetic and Theology.  I have already obtained a Doctor of Theology, a Masters of Religious Education, a Bachelor of Religious Education and an AA Degree.

 We've lived in several cities and my work took me all across the country before I retired in 2004.  I lived in Georgia, Alabama and Pennsylvania while working as an Engineer for Horiba ABX Diagnostics.  I worked at the German Space Operations center in Germany, the National Telecommunications System in Iran, and as an Engineer for the Christian Broadcasting Network, TV station 46, in Atlanta, Georgia.   I worked with ITT Arctic Service in Alaska, was President of Axcess in San Diego, California, and with Bendix Field Engineering, a contractor to NASA, responsible for the receiver exciter system of the Space Tracking Station at Gallstone, California. I also worked in Microwave research and development as a technician with Micronetics in San Diego, California.

 I have multiple certifications in the Biotech and Computer industries and in management, electronics engineering and more.  I also have a Private Pilots License, General Radiotelephone Operators License, and an Extra Class Amateur Radio License.
